About Us

If you are a civic leader, an elected official, a candidate for public office, or simply want to be better informed about issues affecting Fairfax County and Virginia, then we cordially invite you to join the Fairfax Committee of 100.

To join, just attend our next dinner meeting. Dues are $30 for an individual and $40 per couple. Dinners are $39 for members and $49 for non-members.  Dues are tax-deductible as the Fairfax Committee of 100 is a tax-exempt charitable organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. We are required to post our tax returns:  FY2014FY2015 & FY2016.

The Fairfax County Committee of 100 is a non-partisan forum for discussing issues that influence our community.  Our membership is drawn from the public sector, business community, and civic leaders.  We have been serving the county for more than thirty years (established 1977).

The Fairfax Committee of 100 has a proud tradition of hosting outstanding presentations by distinguished speakers on subjects that are shaping Fairfax County.  Over the years, no other group in Fairfax County has provided the broad range of issues in a non-partisan forum seeking to include participants from across the County’s leadership.

We think our mission of bringing together community leaders who are concerned about their community, want to exchange ideas in a non-partisan forum, enjoy good food, and meet others in a civilized setting has never been more important.

The Fairfax Committee of 100 meets for dinner during the week (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday) at a local restaurant.  Reception/sign-in starts at 7:00 PM with dinner beginning at 7:30 PM and the speaker’s presentation starts at 8 PM.  We ask our speakers to give a presentation of about 20 minutes followed by Q&A.
